33 weeks

Ike is more precious to us each day. We are struggling with daytime naps, but Mommy will prevail! It's so tough to ignore the cries of such a handsome kid, especially when he is your son. Here's some more "Ike on the move" for your enjoyment.

Big Man on the Move

Ike had to go to the doctor today to get his flu booster shot. While we were there, I asked if he could be weighed. He is 18 pounds, 14 ounces! I don't have the percentages, since it was just a nurse visit, but he was 17 pounds, 2 ounces on August 18. He has really grown!

He is also on the move. Check out this video of him in action.

Shanah Tovah 5770

Ike celebrated his first Rosh Hashanah this weekend. We've been reading his PJ Library book Apples and Honey for the past few weeks, so he was ready. On Friday night, he had sweet potatoes with his dinner to bring in a sweet new year. He sat nicely while Mommy and Daddy had dinner. We can't wait until he can have kugel and matzah ball soup with us.

On Saturday, we went to services. Doesn't he look dapper in his outfit from Tante B?

31 weeks

Ike is 31 weeks old today. He seems to be in constant motion these days. He will slow down for a meal or a sip of water from his sippy cup, though. He enjoys going for walks in the park, attending story hour, and pulling Mommy's hair. :) He doesn't want to sit up on his own for very long, but would rather straighten his legs and stand up.

30 weeks

Ike is 30 weeks old today. He is starting to verbalize a lot more, especially when he is excited about something. He can be heard saying "da, da, da!" Jimmy loves that.

We've gone to story hour at the library for a few weeks in a row now. Many of the mommies comment on what a happy baby he is.

29 weeks

As you can see from these photos, Ike is getting increasingly active. Getting him to pose for his weekly photo is becoming quite a challenge!

It's been fun catching him in action, though. Here he is at dinner time.

Ike got this drum long before he could even dream of playing it. It's from his Great Aunt Debbie. Watch what fun he's having!

Munch munch munch!

Gum gum gum is more like it! Check out this video of Ike's first taste of teething biscuits. We have to watch him very carefully. When those pieces get too small, it can be a choking hazard.
