Lucky for me, my mom still keeps in touch with one of my elementary school teachers. Mrs. Thorson was my reading teacher in fifth and sixth grades. She attended our wedding and even visited my classroom a few years ago. It was great to have her see me in action, since she is one of the people who made me want to be a teacher.Anyway, she was visiting Mom today, so we met them for lunch and she got to meet Ike!
